Easter Weekend

We used Easter weekend as an excuse to make our way up to see Chris and Lindsay's new place.  They were the best hosts.  We had so much fun and ate so much delicious food.

We drove up Friday afternoon and ate at a yummy pizza restaurant and walked around some cute shops.

On Saturday morning, we headed to their church egg hunt.

After that, we went to their apartment complex's egg hunt.

That afternoon we had fun at a local park

Carson loves their cat, Pepper

Sunday morning we "hid" his Easter basket and he had fun finding it

And what's Easter without a bunny cake?

Family Visit

A couple weeks ago, my mom and dad flew in and Lindsay and Chris drove down from Dallas to go to the rodeo.
It was soo much fun to have them in town.
My mom came a day before everyone else and we had some much needed girl time.  We shopped, went to the fabric store, and saw the Divergent movie.

Here are some snapshots from before we went to the rodeo.

At our favorite dessert place (Carson is admiring his giant cookie)

The only thing that made Carson happy at the fabric store was holding Thomas the Train fabric.

Of course, grandpa had to bring Carson a new Thomas train when he first flew in

Hooray for Grandmas.  My mom convinced him to wear underwear and he has been ever since.

Getting up with grandma in the morning

The day we went to the rodeo it was soooo rainy outside.  We still enjoyed ourselves though.

Giant corndog

All of us with our BBQ from Triple J's.  I got a baked potato covered in brisket and it was amazing!

Drinking yummy Borden chocolate milk (my two milk lovers)

Shooting hoops.  Chris won Carson a basketball!

Carson somehow convinced all the adults to go on rides with him

I am hungry just thinking about all the yummy food.  We are ready to go back next year!
