Lindsay's Wedding

After celebrating an early Christmas at home, we headed out to Utah for Lindsay's wedding!
We got there a few days before and partied hard with my family.
After the wedding, we spent a couple more days with my family before going to Idaho to spend Christmas with Steve's family.

Girlz day before the wedding!

Bridesmaids

My handsome little guy eating lunch at The Garden.

It was such a beautiful day for a wedding.

Snuggles with grandma at the reception.  He was SOO tired.

Introducing Carson to Guru's sweet potato fries! yum

Santa take 2.  He didn't cry this time but also wanted nothing to do with him.

And lots of hanging out in the hotel...

December in Pictures

This is the first half of our December that we spent in Minneapolis.

Decorating the tree

Carson's face when he woke up to see the tree for the first time.

Just a typical week in December in Minnesota.

Attempting to put Carson in Santa's lap.

As you can see, hardly any ornaments were at the bottom of the tree this year.

Playing in the hall.

Riding the carousel at Mall of America.  Carson would NOT let us put him on an animal so we all had to ride on the bench.

Minneapolis light parade.

We all got the stomach flu...this is what it looks like when you have a crazy toddler that has basically recovered and a sick, sick dad.

We had an early Christmas before we headed out to Utah.

Love him

Beaver's Birthday

Well, Beaver turned the big 28 this year.
To celebrate, we went to a nice steakhouse (thanks to my parents!) called Manny's.
Steve was in absolute heaven.  He looked at meat online all day before we went that night.  He is a huge steak lover.
And Manny's did not disappoint.  It was one of the best meals we have both ever had.

The "menu" or meat cart.  And yes, that's a live lobster staring right at me.

Happy boy with his 28 oz. porterhouse.

Full, but still happy boy after eating the entire thing.

And a picture of the only cheesecake I have ever liked.  I may go back just for dessert ;)

Thanks mom and dad for making this a birthday for Steve to remember!

Air and Space Museum

While in Virginia for Thanksgiving, we visited the Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum.
It is basically an extension of the Air and Space Museum in downtown DC, but it is a lot closer to home and easier to get to!

The happy, engaged couple

So much happier when we let him run around unrestrained!
