I really wanted to throw Carson a fun birthday party this year, but having a baby due a few days after his birthday kind of threw a wrench in my plans.
We decided to just do something small with our little family and Steve's mom, who was in town.
We went and saw the "minions" movie and ate dinner at Little Matts to celebrate. Then, we came home and opened presents! This little boy got enough Thomas the Train stuff to last him another year.
Carson was so happy to have a Thomas cake
but got so sad when we lit the candles and sang happy birthday (just being a 3 year old)
I would say overall though, it was a great day!
Those last two pictures are SO funny! I'm glad you got a picture of that. So true. They're so emotional at this age. Sophia also cried when it was time for happy birthday and blowing out her candles! Weird.
